    Israeli tour guide, author, and terror survivor

    British-born Israeli tour guide, author and jazz musician. She survived a machete attack while guiding outside Jerusalem in December 2010 and now speaks about it around the world. As a representative of Palestinian Media Watch she presses Western governments to stop funding the salaries paid to convicted terrorists.

This was AIC’s first program.

Black Forest is a 50-minute Israeli documentary by Hadar Kleinman Zadok and Timna Goldstein. It documents the December 2010 machete attack Kay Wilson survived, the murder committed in the same attack, and how the men responsible were caught.

Wilson came to Atlanta for the screening and stayed for a Q&A. She used it to talk about the money — the salaries the Palestinian Authority pays prisoners convicted of terror offences, including the men who left her for dead, and what a community in Atlanta can actually do about a policy funded partly by Western aid.

Free for students, ten dollars general admission, a hundred for patrons — which included the pre-screening reception with Wilson. Nineteen Atlanta congregations, organizations and businesses sponsored the evening, and Congregation Beth Jacob hosted it in Heritage Hall.
