Attending an AIC event
What to know before you come.
Do AIC events cost anything?
It depends on the event. Some are free and open to the community; others are ticketed — often when the evening doubles as a fundraiser for a specific cause. Each event’s page shows whether there’s a ticket or a suggested gift, along with how to register.
Do I need to register in advance?
Yes — register or RSVP ahead of time on the event’s page. It is how we know to expect you and how we send you the details you need.
How do I find out where the event is?
You get the details when you register: the venue for an in-person event, or the Zoom link for a virtual one, arrives in your confirmation.
Is it safe to attend? What about security?
AIC takes the safety of everyone who comes seriously and arranges appropriate security for its in-person events, working with security professionals. If you have a concern before or during an event, tell a member of the AIC team.
What should I expect at an AIC event?
Most AIC events are speaker evenings and briefings — a firsthand voice or expert on Israel, time for questions, and a chance to meet others in the community. Some run on Zoom, some are in person in metro Atlanta, and a few are missions or delegations. Each event’s page tells you which.
Can I watch an event I missed?
Often, yes. Many past briefings and speaker evenings are recorded and free to watch, with recaps where we have them.
