Bishvil Hanoflim held this evening online as Yom HaZikaron began in 2022, in memory of Major Yochai Kalangel. His siblings Amir, Shai, and Shir talked about who he was, and Major (Res.) Yaakov Selavan led the evening. Dr. Nachman Shai, then Israel’s Minister of Diaspora Affairs, sent a recorded message.
The evening also told the story of the Bamba Coke Initiative, a commemoration project in his memory.
AIC was one of the groups that joined, along with people from South Africa to Detroit, and Yad LaOlim co-sponsored. The whole evening is recorded above.
