Our programs

What your membership makes possible.

AIC is a grassroots, nonpartisan coalition in Atlanta. Here’s what we run, and what you get when you join. Membership is a gift to AIC, and every level comes with the Mitzpe Institute and the AIC Book Club.

An educational program of AIC

The Mitzpe Institute

Mitzpe is AIC’s educational program for research and analysis. Its Israel Brief is an assessment of Israeli security and the Middle East, out Monday to Thursday, and its analysts show their sources and say how sure they are. The Flash Brief is free.

Who it’s for: anyone who wants to understand what happened in Israel without waiting for the evening news.

An initiative of AIC

Kosher Duck Revolution

Cheryl Dorchinsky took a whimsical trend, people hiding little rubber ducks for strangers to find, and gave it a Jewish spin. Every duck carries a QR code, and every find drops a pin on the sightings map: the Chagall windows in Jerusalem, a cruise-ship buffet in the Bahamas, a burger joint in Athens. Ducks have turned up in more than fifteen countries so far.

Who it’s for: families, kids, chapters, and anyone who’d like to leave a little Jewish joy where a stranger will find it.

How it connects

  • Every duck adopted helps fund AIC’s education, community and relief work
  • Your membership goes to the same work

Events

Speakers and community evenings

Next event: Wed, Oct 7

Authors, journalists, survivors and advocates come to speak with our community, online and in person. When a program is recorded, the whole thing goes up, free, for anyone who missed the night.

Who it’s for: anyone who wants to hear it first-hand and ask the question themselves.

Missions

Missions to Israel

When communities in Israel face crisis, AIC shows up. Since October 7 we have led five direct aid missions and put more than 200 volunteer days on the ground, delivering relief in partnership with trusted local organizations.

Who it’s for: volunteers ready to go, and everyone at home who helps fill the suitcases.

Book club

The AIC Book Club

Starts November 2026 · Monthly · Online

One book a month, read together and discussed live. Free for AIC members — you only buy the book. Come for the month you have read and skip the one you have not.

Uri Zehavi picks the books and hosts the conversation, and the list leans toward books we didn’t publish.

Who it’s for: any reader. You don’t need to have read anything before, just the month’s book.

With your membership

  • Free at every level, from Friend ($9 a month) up
  • Open to members only

Briefing

Mitzpe Quarterly Briefing

Starts January 2027 · Four a year · Online

Who it’s for: anyone who’d rather hear the analysis presented live than read it.

With your membership

  • Free from Supporter ($18 a month) up, all four sessions
  • Everyone else: $18 a session, or $54 for all four
