Brigadier General (Res.) Amir Avivi on new approaches to fighting antisemitism, in the Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation's Fighting Back series. AIC co-sponsored.
Speaker

Amir Avivi
Brigadier General (Res.), IDF; Founder and CEO, Habithonistim, Israel's Defense and Security Forum
Decades in senior command posts and across Israel's defense establishment. He lectures often for the Miryam Institute and other organizations.
For this Fighting Back web talk the Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation brought in a general. Brigadier General (res.) Amir Avivi spent decades in senior command posts across Israel’s defense establishment, and he founded and ran Habithonistim, Israel’s Defense and Security Forum.
The title was New Approaches. His subject was the latest strategies for fighting Jew-hatred, both from Israel and inside the Diaspora, with questions to follow, and AIC’s listing promised he had a lot to share.
It went out on Zoom on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at 2 p.m. Eastern, which was 9 at night in Israel. The flyer listed fourteen co-sponsors, AIC among them, along with Club Z, the Combat Antisemitism Movement, the Rhode Island Coalition for Israel, and The Lawfare Project.
