Do You Follow @that_semite? An Evening with Yirmiyahu Danzig

Yirmiyahu Danzig, who posts as @that_semite, came to Atlanta to talk about Jewish diversity, history, and identity. It was his first AIC program, two years before he returned in 2026.

Speaker

  • Yirmiyahu Danzig

Israeli Jewish rights and anti-racism activist

Danzig works on Jewish diversity, history, and identity. His roots in the Old Yishuv and the Caribbean shape his activism, and he posts in English, Hebrew, and Arabic to reach audiences that rarely hear the same argument twice.

Danzig posts as @that_semite in three languages, which is how a great many people under thirty first encounter an argument about Jewish indigeneity that does not sound like a press release.

He came to Congregation Gesher L’Torah with AIC and Unpacked to talk about Jewish diversity, history, and belonging. He returned to Atlanta for AIC in February 2026, and that evening has its own page.
