Israel Independence Day Celebration 2024
Atlanta's community Yom Ha'atzmaut at the MJCCA, the first Independence Day after October 7, with AIC among the co-sponsors.
Israel turned 76 on May 14, 2024, and it was the first Yom Ha’atzmaut since October 7.
The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta held the community celebration that evening from 5 to 7. AIC was one of its co-sponsors, along with the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, Tzofim, and the Israeli American Council.
It was free and open to everyone. There was Israeli music, arts and crafts and games for the kids, and an Israeli food truck from Barake Kosher, with food for sale.
