Author, Testimonies Without Boundaries
The evening after the first anniversary of October 7, Alon Penzel came to a private home in Georgia to talk with AIC about his book, Testimonies Without Boundaries: Israel, October 7th, 2023.
When Hamas invaded, Alon was a political science student at Haifa University. In the months after, he started recording what survivors and volunteers had to say, and the book collects their testimonies. He told us why he started, and why, for him, remembering October 7 is about being human.
The whole evening is recorded above. Cheryl reviewed the book a few weeks later: read her review.
