His name was changed for his safety.
Neil Lazarus hosted this webinar with a Palestinian man from Judea and Samaria who opposes Hamas. He went by Ali, a name changed for his safety.
Lazarus is a British-born educator who moved to Israel in 1988. He trains diplomats, spokespeople, and community leaders to explain the region to the media, and his clients have included Birthright, Israel’s Foreign Ministry, and Yad Vashem. Ali is openly critical of the Palestinian Authority’s corruption since Oslo, and he wants Palestinians and Israelis to actually meet and come to understand each other.
Together they took on Hamas, what October 7 did to Israeli-Palestinian relations, and why BDS hurts Palestinians. AIC co-sponsored it with the Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation, free on Zoom, on Thursday evening, May 2, 2024.
