    Hen Mazzig

Israeli writer, columnist, speaker, and activist

Born in Israel to a Mizrahi family with roots in Iraq and Tunisia, he speaks around the world about identity, antisemitism, and Jewish history.

This Fighting Back web talk had a title in two parts. The first was “It’s Not the Antisemitism My Grandparents Warned Me About.” The second said what to do about it: Using Social Media to Strike Back.

The flyer called Hen Mazzig an Israeli writer, columnist, speaker, and activist. Before he started speaking around the world, he spent five years as a humanitarian officer in Judea and Samaria and Gaza, working between Israel’s security forces, the Palestinian Authority, and international aid groups.

The Canadian Antisemitism Education Foundation ran it on Zoom on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 2 p.m. Eastern. AIC was one of twenty co-sponsors on the flyer, with the Combat Antisemitism Movement, the Rhode Island Coalition for Israel, The Mattathias Project, and Muslims Facing Tomorrow among the others.
