What attendees said
Base Hillel called a national virtual rally for the first week of June 2020 — “a virtual rally in solidarity with our Black family” — with Neshama Carlebach, Susannah Heschel, Menachem Creditor, Shmuly Yanklowitz, Pastor Milton Vann of Jefferson Temple Church of God in Christ, and others on the program.
Around forty-five Jewish organizations put their names to it, AIC among them, from Hillel International and Repair the World to Park Avenue Synagogue and Arizona Jews for Justice.
The organizers postponed it before it took place, and AIC carried their statement to its own community in full.
