    A licensed Israeli guide and an IDF combat veteran, Sussman has led solidarity missions through the communities along the Gaza border since the months after the attack. He has guided AIC audiences since 2020, including all ten days of AIC's first in-person mission in 2022.

The morning starts at the Nova festival site and moves through the communities along the Gaza border that were attacked at dawn that Shabbat. Sussman has been guiding missions through this ground since the months after the attack — to the people who live there, to the soldiers who were there, and to the families who came back to rebuild. He takes questions throughout.

The tour covers what happened at Nova and in the kibbutzim around it, how the survivors and the families are carrying it now, and what rebuilding on that ground is actually asking of the people doing it.

Sussman has been guiding AIC audiences since 2020: two tours of the Old City that December, two five-part virtual series after them, and the ten days of AIC’s first in-person mission in November 2022, which he guided end to end and finished by hosting the whole group for a barbecue at his home in Efrat.
